I genuinely love this game. I know it still needs more polish (haha) but even in its current state it is brilliant. Love the story, characters and world.

I'm reading the World of Cyberpunk book while listening to this playlist. I've been waiting for the PS5 version for a year and a half and I can't wait. I have my physical copy of the game waiting to be used and I also have the Piggyback Collector's Guide which I refrain from looking at. According to rumors the next gen version will be released very soon. I can't wait to go around the city with my red motorbike which looks like Keneda's in Akira. Thanks for uploading this music

This game has been fixed so well it's due a complete re release. I even feel like theyve added stuff in the interactions of the main plot .
It's still far from perfect in terms of slight menu delays but apart from that it's absolutely amazing
And now with 90% bugs gone you can focus on the story and boiii when you get it it's so deep.
The biochip
Alt Cunningham
Yorinobu
Voodoo boys
Evelyn Parker
Johnny silverhand.
Dexter deshaun
Some amazing characters but even these I wouldn't have been able to name on my first 2 playthrough.
But now sheeessshhh these characters are burnt into my memory without me even trying that's how food the characters and story is.
And let's not forget Jackie Welles rip

"I have found that people lie, most often deceiving themselves. Not so the dead. The dead are so very, very loud. And yet, lying is not in their nature. It is so... humbling, to listen to the dead speak." - Saburo Arasaka

4:47 Ugh when that music kicks in, you can feel V's hopelessness. Its almost numbing — and I can't decide if that's purely in the music or if its having played the game when that music kicks in and that nostalgia hits.

This is the music I was looking for. The REAL music of Cyberpunk. The shit that gives you the true feel of the world you are playing in.

I initially played this game upon release, on base ps4. It was such a bad experience that I got a refund. 2 years later I picked it up on PC. My god what a difference, not just from a development progression standpoint but performance. Night and day difference.
I was so hesitant on picking the game up again due to all the (worthy) backlash the game received. I felt CDPR didn't deserve a dime of my money after the smoke and mirrors they deployed to sell a faulty product. However I bought it on sale and have put 50 hours into the game. In hindsight the game was not worth $60 on release due to bugs, but now after 2 years of extra development I can say it's 100% worth the $30 I paid. I've never had a game immerse me as much as this.
Bugs aside, the game is incredible: The Story is unique and vastly interesting, the characters are very well written, some even tug on your heart strings a bit. Reading all the lore and backstory of the world and of Night City, how utterly tragic this world is and what everyone experiences, It's a one-of-a-kind game that engrosses you in every way. Honestly, not many games can do this: I can only think of a few other games that pulled me in so deeply: The Last of Us Series, RDR2 and The Witcher.
Obviously the writing and the characters play a part, but something often overlooked is the music. The ambient soundtracks of this game is incredible. The music playing at 11:30 seems to be a representation of tragedy, loss, heartbreak and an ethereal sense of existence, like a song played during a wake. It's hard to explain, but for me music like that always adds depth and raw emotion to scenes. This music played here was played during the diving mission with Judy and it helped truly captivate that moment, the feelings of the characters Judy and V. I think these moments are what separates good games from great ones: The ability to evoke raw emotion and connection to the story you're engrossing yourself in.

I put this game off for a long time after the launch fiasco. Then I watched Edgerunners and wondered what I was missing, and I'm glad to say I've been very much enjoying it. I think having no expectations going in definitely helped, I'm able to easily overlook bugs and such, and I don't see many of those.
